Youthfront Neighborhood offers tangible ways to help neighbors in need by fighting food insecurity. Through a partnership with Harvesters, Something to Eat helps distribute fresh and shelf-stable foods to those in need every month. Volunteers sort, package and hand out food to neighbors in need at the Franklin Center in Kansas City, Kansas from 1:00 - 4:15 p.m. the second Wednesday of each month.
Volunteers are needed to sort food (1:00-2:25) and load food into vehicles (2:30-4:15). You may sign up for one or both.
